1. Mr.Sunil Kale, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the respondents-authorities are not considering voluntary retirement application of the petitioner, which may be directed to be considered and decided expeditiously.

2. On the other hand, Mr.Soumya Rai, learned Panel Lawyer for the respondents/State, would submit that the petitioner has not completed 20 years of mandatory service.

3. At this stage, Mr.Kale submits that now the petitioner has completed 20 years of mandatory service.

4. Be that as it may, the respondents-authorities are

directed to consider the petitioner's application for voluntary retirement within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation / direction, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
