1. At the out set the counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be confined only, so far as the petitioner no. 2 and 3 are concerned as they belong to the same place and the grievance also remains against the same respondents. So far as petitioner no. 1 and the petitioner 4 is concerned, the petitioners seek

the liberty not to press any claim in the present writ petition with liberty to file duly constituted writ petition in their individual capacity.

2. The said prayer is not opposed by the State counsel and the same therefore stands allowed. So far as the petitioner No 2 and 3 are concerned limited grievances that the petitioners have raised is that the petitioners have put in more than 7 years of continues services on the post of Shiksha Karmi Grade 2. They are entitled for promotion to the post of Shiksha Karmi Grade-2. The petitioners were some-how not considered for promotion by the respondent no.

2. The petitioners have also made representation to the respondent no 2 in this regard, but no decision has been taken on the said representation.

3. Given the said facts and circumstances, the present writ petition can be disposed off with a direction to respondent 2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioners so far as the grievances of them not being considered for promotion to the post of Shiksha Karmi Grade 2

4. Let respondent No. 2 take a decision at the earliest within a period of 60 days from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondent no 2 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. Sd/--- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge jyoti
