Learned counsel for petitioner as well as State/respondents relying upon Paragraph-6 of the return submit that the petitioner has been promoted from the post of Upper Division Teacher and he has been retired on 15/01/2009 vide Annexure R-1 attaining the age of superannuation, and as such, writ petition has become infructuous.
