The petitioner has preferred this writ petition to set-aside impugned order dated 05.10.2017 (Annexure P/5) passed by respondent No.3 i.e. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, Raipur and to direct respondent authorities to decide his case for promotion from the post of District Woman and Child Development Officer

(Assistant Director) to the next higher post i.e. District Program Officer (Deputy Director).

The petitioner is working as Incharge, District Program Officer, Department of Woman and Child Development, Korea, District Korea . 3.

Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the instant writ petition may be disposed of by giving direction to respondent No.1 to decide his pending representation dated 28.06.2018 (Annexure P/10) within stipulated time.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by the counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with this direction that respondent No.1 shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2018 (Annexure P/10) expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, according to law and procedure. 5.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
