The grievance of the petitioner is that he retired from service on 31.08.2018 and respondent no.3 at the time of his retirement had clearly disclosed that he was entitled for leave encashment for 217 days. Though more than 4-5 months have passed since the date of retirement of the petitioner yet he has not got money under the said head. 3.

Given the nature of dispute and the grievance which the petitioner has raised, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to ensure that the leave encashment amount which the petitioner is entitled for be released at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise respondents 2 to 4 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. 4.
