1. The petitioner in the instant case is an employee working under the respondent No. 3 which is a Cooperative Societies governed under the Provision of Cooperative Societies Act.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is non granting of subsistence allowance to the petitioner upon being placed under suspension w.e.f. 12.01.2018. It seems that the petitioner has been placed under suspension on account of his being involved in a criminal case for financial misappropriation.

3. Given the fact that the petitioner is governed under the provision of Cooperative Societies Act and the Rules and Regulations framed

-2therein, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition at this juncture would not be sustainable as there is an alternative statutory remedy available to the petitioner. The liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities under the Cooperative Societies Act for raising a dispute in this regard. On such dispute being raised, the concerned authorities are expected to take a decision in accordance with rules governing the filed at the earliest.
