A compromise petition (docket) has been filed by the parties present. 2.

This WPS has been brought with a prayer to issue directions to the respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lecturer (English) and for setting aside the promotion order dated 19-06-12 in respect to respondent No.4 for the subject Lecturer (English). 3.

In the compromise petition (docket) filed the petitioner in person has made this statement that the dispute has been compromised as he has been given promotion, on account of which he prays to withdraw the petition. 4.

Counsel for the respondents present have agreed to this proposition.
