1. Today when the matter is taken up, the counsel for the petitioners makes a limited prayer that the petitioners may be permitted to make a suitable representation to the State Government in respect of his limited prayer for considering their claim for promotion to the State Finance Services w.e.f. 2009 i.e. the year they had become eligible for promotion on completion of 5 years of service in the Subordinate Accounts Services.

2. The petitioners further submit that they have been given the promotion in the year 2011 and as such they have been put to loss for about two years.

3. The State counsel does not oppose the request that the petitioners have made.

4. Accordingly, the petitioners are permitted to make a fresh representation to the respondent No.1 for ventilating their grievances. In the event, if the petitioners make representation supported with all relevant records, the respondent No.1 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with its merit within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation.
