Mr. S. P. Kale, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner is working on the post of Upper Division Teacher since 18.07.1988, but he is not being promoted on the next promotional post of

Lecturer (English), though the post is vacant, therefore, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lecturer (English). The petitioner has also made representation on 24.02.2015 (AnnexureP/2) before the respondent authorities, but the same has not been considered and decided till date.

Be that as it may, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
