1. At the outset, referring to the order dated 15.1.2018 passed by the Directorate, learned counsel for the State would submit that the petitioner's services have now been confirmed with effect from the date of completion of initial period of probation i.e. 15.6.2003 and all benefits of pay fixation, increments would also be granted to him in accordance with the order of confirmation.

2. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in the petition. The petition is
