Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that for the academic session 2017-18, petitioners have made an application before respondent No. 3- District Education Officer, Ambikapur for extension of recognition of their school which is pending consideration since 13.01.2017 (Annexure - P/4) and has not been decided till date therefore, directions may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously. 2.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.
The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, District Education Officer, Ambikapur is directed to consider and decide the petitioners' said application strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
