The grievance in the writ application was against the appointment of Respondent No.7 denying joining to the Petitioner despite selection. 3.
The counter-affidavit on behalf of Respondents No.5, 6 and 7 states that the Gram Sabha had decided to appoint Respondent No.7. Due to clerical mistake, the name of the Petitioner was mentioned. After the mistake was discovered, it was corrected by the Deputy Director (Panchayat). Respondent
No.7 was found to be eligible for appointment and the appointment of the Petitioner in the facts of the case was done mistakenly. 4.
There is no rejoinder to the counter-affidavit. 5.
The writ application is dismissed.
