The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No.1 to take a decision on the representation that the petitioner has made vide Annexure P/4, dated 27.10.2016 and which is pending consideration till date. 2.

The said relief sought for by the petitioner is not opposed by the State counsel.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent No.1 to decide the representation of the petitioner, pending since 27.10.2016, in accordance with law governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
