1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suspended by order dated 23.9,2019 (Annexure P-1) and thereafter the departmental enquiry has commenced. However, without extension of period of suspension by specific order, the suspension is being continued till date.

2. Learned counsel contends that the currency of suspension order cannot continue for the time immemorial and prays that the petitioner may be given liberty to make representation to respondent no.3 so that the revocation of suspension may be considered.

3. Considering the submission made, the petitioner is given liberty to make a representation to respondent no.3 narrating all his grievance within a period of 2 weeks and on such a representation being filed, the same shall be considered and decided by a speaking order within a further period of 45 days from the date of presentation of the representation.

4. With the above observation/direction, this writ petition is disposed off.
