1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made application before respondent No.3 for recording her name in the service record of respondent No.4, which has not been considered and decided by the said authority till this date and, therefore, direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously.

2. Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

3. Be that as it may, respondent No.3 is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case and respondent No.3 would be at liberty to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is finally disposed off.
