1. The dispute raised in the present writ petition is to the entries that are there in the GPF passbook of the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he has not been paid his entire dues, which he was otherwise entitled for under his GPF account, on account of certain erroneous entries or certain entries, which have not been made in the GPF passbook.

3. Given the nature of dispute, which the petitioner has raised, same can only be resolved on due verification of the GPF account maintained by the Employer as well as one which is maintained in the office of the Accountant General.

This Court is of the opinion that the purpose would be served if the writ petition itself is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to reconsider the claim of the petitioner, so far as his GPF account is concerned. While doing so the respondent No.2 shall call upon the Employer of the petitioner to furnish the actual entries that are made in the GPF account of the petitioner and in addition the respondent No.2 is also directed to call upon the petitioner to produce all the records that are available with the petitioner, so far as the GPF entries are concerned, and thereafter pass a reasoned and speaking order preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. That, in case if any payment is still to be made to the petitioner, the same shall also be made within a further period of 60 days thereafter.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
