On 6.10.2016, this Court had directed to issue a bailable warrant against the Appellant for his appearance before this Court on 22.11.2016. 2.

Today, the Appellant, Gyan Chand, is present in person before this Court and makes a submission that having completed the entire jail sentence he was released on 2.2.2005. He further makes a categorical submission stating that now having undergone the entire jail sentence he does not want to pursue the appeal any further and wants the matter to be closed once and for all.
