Heard Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the State. 2.

The Petitioner is aggrieved by denial of appointment on the post of Shiksha Karmi Grade II as a Science teacher holding that he did not possess the essential qualifications of Biology and Mathematics as per requirement of the Science Group under Schedule II to the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Shiksha Karmi (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2007.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that Geology is also a science like Biology and therefore, the Respondents have acted arbitrarily in not considering his qualification in the discipline of Geology.

The Court is afraid that Geology and Biology are completely different. Geology deals with natural resources and minerals whereas Biology deals with the science of body whether it is human or other forms of life. The Court finds no reason to interfere.

The writ petition is dismissed.
