The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised through the instant Writ Petition is the apprehension of he being discontinued from service as Contractual Guest Lecturer working at I.T.I., Mana, Raipur where the petitioner is working on contractual basis after the present contract period. 2.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that, till date, the respondents have not taken any steps for filling up the post on regular basis and therefore the respondents may only be restrained not to discontinue the services of the petitioner and replace him by another set of Contractual Guest Lecturer.

The relief sought for by the petitioner seems to be fair and reasonable in the light of the fact that the petitioner has been working with the respondents for almost a decade now on contractual basis. 4.

Without entering into the merits of the case any further, we only dispose off the Writ Petition directing the State to ensure that the petitioners's services are not replaced by another set as of contractual employees. In the event if the respondents intends to continue with the contractual employment, the petitioner has a preferential right for the said post. 5.

Needless to mention that, the respondents would always be at liberty to fill up this post by way of regular appointment. 6.

With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed off. 7.
