1. The limited grievance, which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider his application for compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules, regulations and the scheme applicable.
2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, so far as his entitlement is concerned and whether the application has been timely moved or not, the writ petition in its present form stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take a decision on the application of the petitioner in accordance with the rules, regulations and scheme governing the field, if it has been received by the department and the same has also till date not been decided.
3. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
