1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the nongranting of the revision of pay to the petitioner in terms of the benefit which has been extended to similarly placed persons posted at State

level.

2. The petitioner in the instant case has been appointed as a District Coordinator under the respondent no.2. The appointment of the petitioner was initially made in the year 2013 and since then the services of the petitioner have been continued with periodical extension from time to time. The appointment of the district Coordinator has been made on three levels i.e. State level, District level & Janpad level. According to the petitioner, he has been posted at district level.

3. The grievance now of the petitioner is that the Coordinators posted at state level have already got the benefit of revised pay scale vide Annexure P-7 dated 28.11.2017 but such a revision of pay has not been implemented so far as the persons posted at district level as also at Janpad level are concerned.

4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already made a representation in this regard to the higher authorities in the department which till date is pending consideration before the respondent no.4.

5. State counsel at this juncture submits that since the representation of the petitioner is pending, this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 4 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law.

6. Given the said facts, let the respondents 2 & 4 take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of revised pay scale as has been given vide Annexure P-7 dated 28.11.2017 to the persons posted at state level. Let the decision be taken within an outer limit of 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner would be at liberty to make a fresh representation to the respondents 2

& 4 supported with all relevant documents.
