The defaults pointed out by the Registry of this Court in the instant case stand ignored as of now.

With the consent of learned Counsels appearing for the parties, heard the matter finally at admission stage itself.

The limited grievance that Petitioners have in the present Writ Petition is the inaction on the part of Respondents in not completing the character verification of Petitioners subsequent to their appointment. 4.

Learned Counsel for Petitioners submits that for want of character verification, the confirmation of Petitioners so also their next promotional avenues are getting blocked. Learned Counsel for Petitioners further submits that Petitioners have repeatedly made representation to the authorities concerned for expediting the said process but their representation is still pending. 5.

Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Respondent No.2 to ensure that the representation which the Petitioners have made, particularly in respect of their grievance of character verification is expedited at the earliest and appropriate further proceedings be drawn in accordance with law governing the field.

Liberty is open to the Petitioners to approach the Court in case if need arises at a later stage.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
