1. Challenge in this writ petition was to the order of attachment dated 13.07.2015 whereby the petitioner has been attached from Public Works Department (E&M) Durg Division, Durg to the office of Chief Engineer, Public Works Department (B&R), Bastar Division, Jagdalpur.

2. The petitioner was initially granted interim protection vide order dated 28.07.2015. The matter has since been listed after four years and by virtue of interim protection, the petitioner continues at the same place. Thus, this court is of the opinion that by efflux of time the impugned order has lost its efficacy.

3. In view of the same, the respondents are directed not to act upon the impugned order any further. However, the right of the respondents stand reserved for passing of the fresh order in the event of administrative exigency so required.
