WPC No.2782/2018 was disposed of with the following direction contained in para 5 of the order dated 08.10.2018:- "5.
In the present case, let the petitioners move representation before the Collector, Rajnandgaon with a copy to the Chief Municipal Officer, Municipal Council, Khairagarh for payment of compensation on account of acquisition of their land for widening of road. On such representation being made, the Collector, Rajnandgaon shall decide the representation in consultation with the CMO, Municipal Council, Khairagarh within 6 a period of 8 weeks from the date of submission of representation. If the petitioners' case is found to be similar to the case of Raju Agrawal (supra), the petitioners shall also be entitled to compensation in accordance with law."

Since much time has not elapsed after the lapse of the original period, the contempt petition is disposed of with direction and observation that the petitioner shall move reminder/representation before the appropriate Authority within a period of 10 days from today and thereafter the Authority shall decide the representation in terms of the previous order of this Court within next 6 weeks.

If during the above extended period, the contemnors fail to decide the representation and the petitioner is compelled to move a fresh contempt petition, this Court shall direct personal appearance of the contemnors and may also take coercive steps for compliance of the order passed by this Court.
