1. Petitioner has preferred this writ petition claiming salary for the period from 1-3-2009 to July, 2013.

2. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer that the petitioner may be permitted to pursue representation before the authorities.

3. In view of the submission made, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioner prefers a representation before the competent authority, the said authority shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, on its own merits.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
