Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner retired from service on 22.05.2006 and the amount of pension and gratuity has been paid to him but fixation of pension and arrears / benefit of 6th pay commission has not been granted to him for which he has also made

representations before the respondent No. 4 - Collector, Kawardha which is pending consideration till date.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 4 - Collector, Kawardha is directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of interest and fixation of pension expeditiously after hearing the petitioner. The petitioner would also be at liberty to make additional representation, if any, before the respondent No. 4.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
