1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has is that on one hand high power caste scrutiny Committee has not taken the decision si far as the verification of the caste of the petitioner is concerned and at the same time the department also is not considering the case of the petitioner for promotion in the light of the matter being pending before the High Power Caste Scrunity Committee.

2. According to the petitioner, relatives of the petitioner including his brother and nephew and for all other concerned people, the Committee has already conducted enquiry and have also issued

-2certificate in their favour and as such the Committee should not have any further difficulty in deciding the case of the petitioner also.

3. Given the aforesaid facts, this Court does not intend to keep this writ petition pending rather ends of justice would serve if the respondent No. 4 Committee is directed to ensure that the enquiry in respect of the Caste status of the petitioner which is pending before the Committee be concluded preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondent No. 4 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
