1. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the title holder of land bearing Khasra No. 4/2 Rakba 0.02 Hectares, Situated at village Raghunathpur, Tahsil Lundra, District Surguja.

2. According to the petitioner the said piece of land has since been acquired by the respondents for widening and construction of National Highway No.43 (Old No. 78). According to the petitioner

though the land of the petitioner has been acquired but he has till date not been given any compensation for the said land and petitioner has been approaching the authorities concerned time and again but no decision as such has been taken till now.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that his grievance can be redressed if petitioner is permitted to approach before respondent No.2 and 3 by making a suitable claim application within a period of 15 days from today. Respondent No.2 & 3 in turn after due verification of fact as to whether the land of the petitioner in fact has been acquired for the construction/widening of the road and thereafter take appropriate steps.

4. In case, if petitioner is entitled for compensation and then appropriate steps be taken in this regard. In case, if petitioner is not entitled for compensation then appropriate orders be passed intimating the petitioner in this regard..

5. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 4 months time from the date of receipt of copy of the representation by the petitioner.
