1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought is for a direction to the Registrar, Trade Union (respondent no.2) for taking an appropriate decision regarding issuance of Form-E for which the petitioner has submitted an application pursuant to the election that is said to have been conducted on 19.11.2017 and which since then is pending before the Registrar, Trade Union.

2. State counsel does not oppose for a direction to respondent no.2 for taking an appropriate decision on the pending application submitted

by the petitioner.

3. Given the aforesaid submission made by the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition stands disposed of at this juncture directing respondent no.2 to take an appropriate decision on the pending application submitted by the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Needless to mention that this Court has not expressed any opinion so far as the merits of the case is concerned and the respondent no.2 is free to take a decision purely in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the rules governing the field.
