The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.306/2017 registered in Police Station Arjuni District-Dhamtari (CG) for offence punishable under sections 354 (?k), 509 ([k) of IPC and Section 67 of I.T. Act. 2.

As per the prosecution case, a report was made by the victim on 24/10/2017 that the applicant has taken objectionable photographs of her in his mobile and threat was extended by sending it through WhatsApp group. Having opposed the same, the applicant did not stop threatening her and eventually report was made.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant and the victim were in love affair and the photographs which are attached would show that she was facing camera and no obscene photographs are on record, only prosecutrix in the company of the applicant that is been shown, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

Perused the case diary documents and also perused the photographs seized by the police. Considering the same, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
