1. The claim of the petitioners in the present writ petition is for a demand of the intern stipend being provided to the petitioners at par with the Intern Doctor working under the Allopathy Medical Science.

2. The counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners herein are Intern Doctors (Ayurved) and that they are getting a stipend of only Rs.6000/- per month from 2012 onwards, whereas the Intern Doctors of the Allopathy Medical Science are getting a

stipend at a much higher rate i.e. Rs.12,600/- as compared to the Rs.6000/- that the petitioners are getting.

3. The counsel for the petitioners submits that so far as the payment of stipend to the students undertaking Postgraduate Course in Ayurved is concerned, this Court has already vide WPC No. 4396/2019 allowed the writ petition vide order dated 04.12.2019 and applying the same principle, the stipend payable to the Intern Doctors also should be at par with the Intern Doctors practicing under the Allopathy Medical Science.

4. According to the petitioners, they have already made a couple of representations to the authorities concerned, but till date the respondent authorities have not taken a decision.

5. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, let the respondents No.1 & 3 consider and decide the representation of the petitioners for grant of stipend at par with the Intern Doctors of the Allopathy Medical Science is concerned, at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
