Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 19.09.2016 This Court on 12.08.2016 had issued instruction to the State counsel to verify whether the appellant is still in jail or he has been released on bail from the jail.

A report dated 05.09.2016 has been received from the Jail Superintendent, Central Jail, Ambikapur intimating that the appellant herein has already undergone the entire jail sentence and he has been released from jail on 26.01.2012.

At this juncture, Senior counsel appearing for the appellant submits that since the appellant has already been released from jail after completing the entire jail sentence, he does not want to contest the appeal any further on merit.
