1. The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the Order dated 01.10.2018 passed in W.P.S. No. 6490 of 2018.

2. In the said writ petition, this Court while disposing off the petition, directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner preferably within a period of 2 (two) months so far as granting of relief under the Employee Deposit Scheme is concerned. The respondents have entered their appearance and have submitted that the respondents intend to comply with the order and are in the process of generating funds for the same.

3. He further submits that there were bunch of contempt petitions of identical nature which were listed in the month of March and the

-2Counsel for the Respondents jointly agreed for disposal of present contempt petition in similar terms.

4. In view of the joint submission made by the counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the opinion that since identical matters the coordinate bench as well as this Court have already granted three months' time for the respondents to comply with the direction given by the Court, the present Contempt Petition also can be disposed off with similar directions.

5. The respondents are, therefore, directed to ensure that the Order dated 01.10.2018 passed in WPS No. 6490 of 2018 is complied with, at the earliest, within a period of three months from today. It is made clear that the respondents should make all sincere efforts ensuring compliance of the direction given by this Court within the time prescribed here-in-above.

6. It should also reflect that the respondents have complied with order both in letter as well as in spirit. It is further clarified that mere making correspondence from one office to another and from one department to another would not be accepted as justified efforts, for compliance of the order given by this Court, such stand would be viewed seriously.

7. The present Contempt Petition, accordingly stands disposed off, reserving the right of the petitioner to approach this Court, in case, if need so arises.
