The claim in the writ petition is for grant of two advance increments on account of acquisition of Shiksha Visharad Degree in 1998 from the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Allahabad. The counter-affidavit states that the institution is not recognised relying on a judgment of the Allahabad High Court. In (2010) 12 SCC 609 (Rajasthan Pradesh Vaidya Samiti, Sardarshahar v. Union of India), it has been observed that the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan is only a society registered under the Societies Registration Act incompetent to grant any degree qualification. 3.
The writ petition is dismissed.
