Mr. Praveen Das, counsel for respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the parties submit that during the pendency of this petition, compromise has been effected between the parties and compromise petition has been filed before the court below, but the trial Court could not proceed for the reason that the stay granted by this Court is operative. In view of the above submission, it is made clear that the trial Court may proceed with the compromise petition irrespective of grant of stay as no stay would be operative if the matter is compromised.
With the above observation, this petition stands disposed of.
