The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 438 of CrPC, as he is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.380/2019, registered at Police Station Takhatpur, District Bilaspur (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 294 & 506 of IPC.

The applicant has committed sexual intercourse with the prosecutrix on promise to marry and later on refused to marry her. 3.

Considering the nature of allegation, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. If the applicant surrenders and applies for regular bail, the same shall be considered expeditiously.
