1. By the impugned order, the petitioner's application under Section 27A of the Election Rules, 1995 has been rejected and the case has been fixed for prosecution evidence from 16-1-2018 against which this writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial Court be directed to adjourn the case for four weeks, as the counsel for the petitioner conducting the trial is unwell.

3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents filed along with the petition.

4. On 5-1-2018, the petitioner prayed for ten days time on the ground of ill-health of the counsel and it appears that the trial Court while

rejecting the application, adjourned the matter for 16-1-2018. The matter is pending since 1998. The petitioner's writ petition has already been dismissed and ten days time as prayed for has already been granted. I do not find any merit in the petition under Section 482 of the CrPC and it is accordingly dismissed.
