1. Learned Panel Lawyer for the respondents/State would submit that order passed by the respondent No.1 terminating the services of the petitioner is appealable under Regulation 262 of the Chhattisgarh Police Regulations before the Inspector General of Police.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to prefer an appeal before the Appellate Authority/Inspector General of Police within 30 days from today.

3. The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

4. The petitioner is permitted to prefer an appeal before the Appellate Authority/Inspector General of Police within 30 days from today. If

such appeal is filed, the Appellate Authority will do well and decide the same within three months from the date of presentation of the appeal in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. Copy of Annexure P/1 be returned to learned counsel for the petitioner after furnishing duly photostat copy of the same. No order as to cost(s).
