With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner would agree that there is a provision for filing revision under Section 91 of the Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 read with Rule 5 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat (Appeal and Revision) Rules, 1995 to challenge the impugned order passed by the Jila Panchayat.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner may avail the alternative remedy within a period of one month from today. If such remedy is availed, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the matter, on its own merits, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 6 months.
