1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be the non-granting of promotion from the post of Training Superintendent, Govt. I.T.I. to the post of Principal. According to the petitioner, many of his juniors have already been promoted on this post.

2. The petitioner had on an earlier occasion preferred WPS No. 4242/2019 which was disposed of directing the Director,

Employment and Training Department to take an appropriate decision. Subsequently, it has been informed that the Director, Employment is not the authority who has to take a decision in respect of the claim for promotion of the petitioner is concerned and the same has to be dealt with at the level of the respondents No.1 & 2.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition now at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.1 & 2 to take an appropriate decision at the earliest in accordance with law so far as the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Principal is concerned, within an outer limit of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
