Ranjan Kumar Gupta v. State Of Chhattisgarh
HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet Writ Petition (S) No. 5306 of 2016 Ranjan Kumar Gupta Versus State of Chhattisgarh and others Shri Aditya Khare, counsel for the petitioner. 05.10.2018 Shri D. Wankhede, Govt. Advocate for the State. The claim in the present writ petition was for an appointment on the post of Assistant Draftsman on the basis of an advertisement which was published on 31.08.2013 in which the petitioner had applied on his fulfilling the requisite criteria.
At this juncture, state counsel submits that the present writ petition in its present form is not sustainable for the reason that the entire recruitment process arisen from the said advertisement has since been cancelled on 28.10.2016 and thereafter, a fresh advertisement had already been issued in this regard and the recruitment process has also been completed from the fresh advertisement.
Given the said facts and in the light of the subsequent development, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
