1. The grievance raised by the petitioners in the present writ petition is the non-inclusion of the names of petitioners in the voter list of Gram

Panchyat, Kenapara, Lal Bahadur Shastri Ward No. 17.

2. At the outset, this Court is of the opinion that since the election process itself has already commenced and the electoral roll has already been published and notified, it would not be proper at this juncture for this Court to issue any writ for adding or deleting the name of any person in/from the voter list. From the record it appears that the petitioners have already made a representation to the authorities in the District for appropriate steps which till date has not been decided.

3. Given the said fact that the election process having already commenced, this Court at this juncture is reluctant to issue any writ to the respondents.

4. However, the concerned authorities i.e. Respondents 3 & 4 are directed to look into the grievance of the petitioners and ventilate the same in accordance with law at the earliest. The liberty of the petitioners for raising any other dispute before the appropriate forum would always remain open.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
