1. The petitioner contends that by order dated 15.01.2020 the petitioner who was working as Chief Municipal Officer, Lormi has been directed to placed as Assistant Grade-II at Municipal Council, Sakti. The remark column states that the placement to the substantive post.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner while was posted at Chief Municipal Officer, Lormi for the last 10 years and he has been working as incharge Chief Municipal Officer at various Municipal Councils though, he was entitled for promotion instead of being promoted the petitioner is being sent back to the post of Assistant Grade-II Sakti i.e.

the substantive post of which petitioner is in hold. The petitioner further contends that the petitioner has filed the representation with the Secretary, Department of Urban Administration & Development (Respondent No.1 ) that may be directed to be decided.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner as has been stated was discharging the job of Chief Medical Officer for the last 10 years and the petitioner as already filed a representation (Annexure P-2), it is directed that Respondent No. 1 shall decide the same within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
