The claim of the petitioner is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for grant of compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner, the father of the petitioner Late Rajendra Kumar Jadhav was working under the respondents as an Upper Division Teacher (Grade-I) and he died in harness on 04.12.2011. Immediately thereafter the petitioner had applied for grant of compassionate appointment, which till date has not been considered by the respondents authorities inspite of the repeated representations and reminders moved by the petitioner in this regard.

Given the limited relief that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture can be disposed of directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner applying the scheme for compassionate appointment as applicable on the date of death of the deceased at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
