The limited relief sought for by the petitioners in this petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners so far as grant of compensation for the land belonging to the petitioners which stands acquired by the respondents for the purpose of construction/widening of the National Highway. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is already an award in favour of the petitioners dated 30.11.2017 (Annexure P/2), but till date they have not received any compensation.

Given the said limited dispute that the petitioners have raised, let the petitioners approach the respondent No.2 by making detailed

-2representation within a period of 10 days from today, and the respondent No.2, in turn, shall process and verify the claim of the petitioners and take an appropriate steps within a further period of 90 days. In case, if the petitioners found entitled for the compensation, the same also should be released at the earliest.
