Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 18/02/2021 Heard.

1. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.105 of 2020 registered at Police Station- Patewa, District Mahasamund (CG) for the alleged commission of offence under Section 306/34 of IPC.

2. Earlier bail application was rejected by this Court on 17.08.2020 taking into consideration the nature of allegation. The repeat application for grant of bail has been moved on the ground of delay in trial. The applicant is in jail since 09.06.2020.

3. Taking into consideration the total period of under trial detention, at this stage, no case is made out for grant of bail only on the ground of delay. The applicant would be at liberty to revive the application if the trial is not concluded and the period of pre-trial detention exceeds one year.
