1. Heard.
2. As per the prosecution case, on 01.10.2017 the police has received that the applicant was in possession of contraband ganja for selling and when a raid was conducted, 4.415 Kgs. of ganja was seized by the police from the place of applicant.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is lady and is in jail since 01.10.2017, charge-sheet has been filed and no further investigation is necessary therefore, she may be released on bail.
4. Per contra, learned State Counsel opposes the bail application.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the quantity of ganja allegedly recovered from the applicant i.e. 4 Kgs. and 415 grams. I am not inclined to allow this bail application. Accordingly, it is rejected. However, the trial court is requested to expedite the trial as early as possible. Sd/- GOUTAM BHADURI JUDGE R a o
