Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's land has been acquired and the award has also been passed on 08.09.2011 but till date the amount of compensation has not been disbursed to the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to approach the Collector / Land Acquisition Officer, Janjgir Champa for disbursement of amount of compensation within two weeks from today and if such a representation is made before the Collector / Land Acquisition Officer, Janjgir Champa, then

the said authorities shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of compensation strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of representation.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
