The petitioner has an interim protection in her favour since 29.08.2016. By efflux of time the impugned order so far as the petitioner is concerned has lost its efficacy as the petitioner continued at her original place of posting by virtue of the interim protection.

Given the said facts, the respondents are directed that they shall not act upon the impugned order so far as the petitioner is concerned. However, the right of the respondents stands reserved for passing a fresh order of transfer, if administrative exigency so requires. 4.
