1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is confining his relief for an appropriate direction to the respondents to release salary to the petitioner which has not been paid to him for last six months inspite of having worked during the said period.

2. Given the said submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner, this court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to verify the fact whether the petitioner has infact been working for the last six months and on verification if it is found that the petitioner has been working for all these period, there is no reason why he should be denied his salary. Let appropriate steps for releasing his salary be taken by the respondent No.2 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. It is made clear that in case if it is found that the petitioner has not been discharging his duties, then appropriate intimation would be given to the petitioner in this regard.
